Link Piece: Polone On Perks

Agent turn manager turned producer Gavin Polone wrote an interesting piece on star perks that fills in a lot of facts to go with what I wrote in my piece about how overpaid stars cost more than just their bloated up front salaries.
The sort of thing the article is talking about.

    Three words.

    Holy.
    Flurking.
    Schmidt.

Right about the time he started describing the personal trainer and dietician requirements, my brain just refused to read the rest. I think it was afraid that blood would shoot out of my eyes.

  2. Boo hoo poor movie companies. If only they weren't so raped by the evil movie actors ... oh wait, the companies did this to themselves, in order to get those actors in the first place. Screw them, then.

The money saved would only go to faceless executive perks instead, like a $275,000 bathroom. In either case we won't see it in the movie. Not in a Hollywood that thinks $215 million is a worthwhile price for a damn Western.

  3. If I ran a film, these stars would be living in army barracks and eating MRE's.
