I think the point he was trying to make was that R is now being treated as if it was X, PG-13 is viewed as PG, PG is now G, & G is now for babies. And that things were better when parents assumed PG & up meant that parents had to pay attention to the movies their kids saw.
So many depraved, cruel and bloodthirsty movies made as PG or PG-13 that should have been R.
ReplyDeleteThis video is the first time I’ve heard the argument that good art needs more blood, cruelty, sadism and less restraint and good taste.
